Our global refining network produces fuels and a range of products, which are distributed through our marketing, lubricants, and supply divisions.

Safety, reliability, and environmental protection are our highest priorities in all our operations. Recently, we have made significant upgrades to several refineries and implemented a loss prevention system across our facilities. This behavior-based safety system strengthens our commitment to injury-free operations and supports a foundation for strong and competitive performance.

We serve a diverse, worldwide customer base through our refineries.

Seven of our refineries account for over 95 percent of our total crude oil refining capacity. Five key refineries—located in Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Richmond, and El Segundo, California—are instrumental in producing products for Pacific Basin countries. The sixth and seventh refineries, based in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Pasadena, Texas, primarily serve the Atlantic Basin countries. These facilities are equipped to process heavy crude oils and produce a range of high-value products, including transportation fuels.

The Pasadena Refinery, added to our network in May 2019, has a capacity of 110,000 barrels of crude oil per day. It is seamlessly integrated with the Pascagoula Refinery and Houston blending centers, enhancing our ability to process more equity Permian light crude.

Case Study: New coke drums have been effectively installed at the El Segundo Refinery.

Transporting six massive coke drums through the streets of Los Angeles’ South Bay was not accomplished in just a few nights; it required nearly four years of detailed planning and precise execution. The objective was to safely replace six drums installed in the 1960s with modern versions. Above all, we were committed to completing this task without any incidents or injuries.
